Oranda Or Not

sorry about all the snaps i got carried away i think the 5th ones the best it looks like patch is coming out the glass :blink:

:) He looks like a little Oranda to me.Don't you wish that they'd keep those little black smudges of coloring as it makes them look so cute! :D

As for the wen,genetics plays a big roll in how much/how big /or how fast wens grow. I've had little fish with lots of wen growth,and I have big fish with almost none,so you just don't know for sure.My blue Oranda is probably 9 inches or so big,and 3 years old,and she's just now starting to get wen. :rolleyes::D

i hope he/she is an a oranda but if not then so be it,ill give him/she the best i can,they are the kids but i got the job of looking after them :D so i guess that makes them mine :D

i'd say it was an oranda! :)

i have three orandas that are just starting to grow some wen! when we first got them, their wens were non-existent! :D

two things if you want the wen to grow faster... 1. awesome water quality 2. high-protein food (we use omega one)

thanks all for the replys so maybe he/she is an oranda or not i would like him/she to be an oranda but if not i think ive still got a cute fantail or not :blink: ,at the end of the day he is loved by all our family,my kids and wife love him so that will do for me, so how do i tell the wife he needs a bigger tank :rofl
