Goldfish Eye Color...

Most of my goldfish have normal eyes... however one of my male goldfish has adorable solid black eyes. If I breed him to a regular eyed fish, does this up the chances of black eyed fish? If I breed him to another black eyed fish- will they all (or mostly) be black eyed?

For your information, that "black eye" is not the eye (pupil) colour alone. The fish in question is Ogopogo, right? His pupil colour is black, same as other goldfish, it's just the "whites" (or the sclera) in calico fish (in which Ogopogo is one) sometimes can be partly-black or all-black, giving the appearance of a solid black eye.

If you mate Ogopogo with other goldfish, his calico genes will transfer and you will certainly get calico offsprings, and that means some of them will probably have black sclera and hence "solid black" eye.

The only other pupil colour I know of other than black is red, which appears in albino fish, like these ryukin and oranda below:
