Guest Spaz
How common are they, and does anybody have pictures of them? I've seen a Koi/Goldfish hybrid, and it was really cool! I found the link where I had seen them http://www.koivet.com/html/articles/articl...h%20Information So, share those hybrid stories and pictures! I'd love to see them
Regular Member Jon Posted December 1, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted December 1, 2006 Are you looking for koi or goldfish hybrids? Goldfish hybrids are double tailed fancy goldfish, like orandas, ryukins, moors, bubble eyes, ect.
Regular Member x-Lucy-Fish-x Posted December 1, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted December 1, 2006 A hybrid is a fish that has parents from different species. Since all fancy goldfish are just mutations of the same species (carassius auratus), they are not hybrids. A fish with a goldfish for a dad and a koi for a mum would be a hybrid. Parrotfish are hybrids.. cant remember what from though, a flowerhorn cichlid and somthing else?
