A hybrid is a fish that has parents from different species. Since all fancy goldfish are just mutations of the same species (carassius auratus), they are not hybrids.

A fish with a goldfish for a dad and a koi for a mum would be a hybrid.

Parrotfish are hybrids.. cant remember what from though, a flowerhorn cichlid and somthing else?

How common are they, and does anybody have pictures of them?

I've seen a Koi/Goldfish hybrid, and it was really cool! I found the link where I had seen them :)
