Corn?

I do not even give my dogs anything with corn as they really can not digest it. Really, do humans even fully digest corn? I think it would be the same for fish and really not a good idea!

The skin on corn kernels is poorly digestible. The inside part, including the germ is digestible. However, the inside is semi-liquid and will just disperse in your tank. If you want to feed a higher level of carbohydrate and lower protein, try a wheat germ type of pellet, like the one made by Hikari.

i was just wondering weather i can feed my goldies corn, i don't see why not, does anyone?

The only was that you could assure yoursely of a level digestive issue is to skin the corn like you skin the peas- the problem with the corn- as well - is that most corn is picked when it is overly mature- and the embryo in the center of the corn seed tends to be hard and a suprse - not always a good one - to a goldie=
