i'm not yet..... but i met some folk at the FOF this year who are and one was featured in PFK too.

I went to the AGM today. I was definitely the youngest person there. These guys are hardcore. Like pidgeon fanciers, but with goldfish.

Yeah, thats kinda what I thought it may be like. I've no doubt that some of these people are really, really knowledgable and expert and one could learn soo much from them. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable though or fit in either :(

What does AGM stand for?

There is a fish club that meets fairly locally to me that I see advertised in my local LFS but have the same reservations as you Bumblebee!

Id love to go and meet people who shared the same kind of interest in fish but at the same time im not sure how well id fit in either. Ive joined other things alone but this I feel id stick out like a sore thumb. Im sure they are lovely people though and its just my own insecurities getting the better of me!
