Heater Installation

i just boughta 55watt heater for my 13 gallon tank and i just decided well eventually i will want to turn it into a tropical and Gold Fish dont mind water temps and so i treated them one it is alrighthey?? now should i gradually heat it up for them like from say 68 to about 78 farronheiton my heater or is it alright ot just put your heater on 78 farronheight?

Slowly raise the temp so your goldies will adjust easier. A 10* temp

jump might stress them out a bit. Plus you can see if you have enough

aeration to handle the higher water temp(higher water temps-less o2 in

the water).

Sounds like you should be OK, but check every now and then to see if anyone

starts to gasp alot at the surface.

Well, i have a HOB filter, which, when the water falls, little bubbles rise from about 8 centremetres to the top, plus, i have a bubble wall, and a ship which blows bubbles, is the HOB enough for a while?
