Remember That My New Oranda?

That seems to happen to a lot of people's goldfish. Check and make sure you are 100% certain it's not ammonia burns. If you're sure its not that than it is probably just her colors changing and nothing I would worry about.

Good luck with your fishy! Orandas are soo cute!

The black is healing from ammonia burns and will go away completely in a couple of weeks. Some will go fast and some will take longer. Make sure that you keep up with partial water changes and test the water.

Remember the power outage? We had it last summer. I think that was in July. Anyway my filters were not running for almost a week. Also I couldn't do a water change because on the news they told us not to drink the water because of bactria. All my goldfish at the time got ammonia burn. My biggest Comet was the only one that made it. I had to salt dip him to bring him back to life. He had 2 sores on both sides of his body. He turned 100% black when I put him in good water. That was what 6 months ago? Now he is about 10% black (ammonia burns) with most of it on his fins. He lost his awesome tail to it to. It was about 4 inches long. Its starting to come back. It might be 2 inches now. Hes getting better and I have learned alot about my goldfish since then.
