Regular Member Nick Posted December 13, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 13, 2003 Well, i have a bubble wall and a ship :) Where do u live? The bubble wall: $18 for wall 1 1/2 foot long $1.65 for 1 metre of airline tube $17 for a masterpet single outlet pump $4 for a T-P (to connect 2 air blowing things together e.g. ship and bubble wall) $3 for a check valve The Ship: $22 for the ship (about 15 centremetres long) <And same above....> $1.65 for 1 metre of airline tube $17 for a masterpet single outlet pump $3 for a check valve All australian money It adds up to be $62.00 for a ship, bubble wall, and everything you need to run, and keep the pump safe from back-siphoning costs about $60.00 Hope this helps ~Nick

Regular Member svendenhowser Posted December 16, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2003 dude you kinda got ripped off! not to be mean or anything but seriously.. $1.65 for 1m or air tubing!! i wouldn't pay a cent over 40 AU a 1m. heres my list this is from my pro fish shop which is run by chinese people, they're so nice i got my bubble wall for $7 airline tubing 40c - 1m twin outlet pump - $15 (been running for 3 years now without probs) by T-P you mean a t piece? - 20c 1 way valve (check valve?) - 40c and i dont have a ship but yea they are about $20, probably the reason i dont have one but shop around and you'll find the best deal, especially if your mega poor like me. I find the little independant stores are the cheapest (some are expensvie though..) and they'll always give you a deal if you buy like a few things, like we've listed. Well thats how it is in Aust, maybe people are more stringent on prices and arent willing to haggle where you are

Regular Member fishfelice Posted January 21, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted January 21, 2004 The bubble walls are good. I heard finer bubbles are better than big ones because it takes longer for them to reach the surface, so they disperse more oxygen in the water.
