Regular Member tropicana Posted September 4, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2006 lol, i bought 2 new orandas yesterday and they didn't have names, so this morning i woke up and thought of a name for eahc of them, my blue oranda is now mr. blue, because it's so slick the way he just swims around the tank, looks like he is trying to impress the ladys, an my red cap is called afro because i just think it's funny xD just one question, my red caps wen has started to grow when my blue oranda's hasn't, is my red cap older? they're both abot the same size
Regular Member Jeana727 Posted September 4, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2006 I think each fish grows the wen different. I have a big Red Oranda & I refer to his wen as a tight short afro. Now my Red & White Oranda's wen is much "bulkier"......my son refers to her as "the big brain fish"! It probably has most to do with genetics, and some to do with feeding.
