Nitrite Level? fine

Nitrate level? fine

Ph Level, (If possible,KH and GH and chloramines)? 7.0

Ph Level out of the Tap? 7.5

Tank size (How many Gals) and How long has it been running? 20 gal., 8 months

What is the name and size of the filter/s? medium, it's a vitapet fish essentials one

How often do you change the water and how much? 30% every week

How many fish in the tank and their size? 2 goldies, 5cm each

What kind of water additives or conditioners? no, i haven't needed to treat the water for a while

Any medications added to the tank? none

Add any new fish to the tank? no

What do you feed your fish? pellets, peas and flakes

Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt",

bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? yes, 3 white spots on my moor's tail

Any unusual behavior like staying

at the bottom, not eating, ect..? nope she's swimming around and eating fine

please help me, i'm worried about my moor

Hi tropicana. Sorry to hear you may have some issues going on.

We will need you to provide the numbers to the nitrites and nitrates to insure they don't need tweaked at all. Often the test reads fine when infact it is not.

Next, I am concerned that you don't ever use a water conditioner. This is essential when doing water changes. Do you use one then?

For the white spots, is it ich? Can you do some research for us and look to see if this is what it seems to be. Or does it look like something else?

:) We definately need the Nitrite/Nitrate #'s to see the big picture here. Do you have a test kit for those two?

Ick looks like grains of salt or sand sprinkled on your fish-does it look like that ,or just plain flat white spots?
