Regular Member my nemo Posted December 9, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 9, 2003 I bought a python cleaning system the other week. Last night was the first night I used it for my 55 gallon. Boy was I impressed.I loved it so much. I finished cleaning the tank in 30min. Usually with my reg. gravel vac and buckets it takes me over an hour and a sore back. For those of you with big tanks I recommend a Python. Regular Member jsrtist Posted December 9, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 9, 2003 LOL I second that recommendation!! I got one for Christmas last year and its the best aquarium supply Ive ever bought! I was forever spilling water down the hallway from the bathroom and dumping it all over the tank stand when I was trying to fill it back up. And when I set up my 100 gallon it filled it so quickly. Can you imagine how many buckets that would take!? I use it on all my tanks. On my small tanks I just turn the water pressure down lower. I know some fish owners who only like the old-school way of doing things, but I figure if theres something out there to help us out, why not use it? Regular Member HappyGoldfish Posted December 10, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 10, 2003 I recently told a friend's co-worker (who has a 75 gal tank) about the python when she mentioned to me that it took her hours to drain and refill her tank during water changes. I don't know if she's ever been more thankful for anything in her life!
