Regular Member Nykole Posted December 7, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted December 7, 2003 Ive heard that feeding food at the surface of the water can cause swim bladder problems. Is this true? I soak any food that floats until it sinks as a precaution. Is it the fish eating that causes it or can they still have swim bladder problem if their just gulping air at the surface? My Moor get excited around feeding time and gulps air at the surface waiting for food. Could this eventually cause swim bladder problems?
