SnBMeg 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Halloween, at this point I would say that Sai is a fantail. However, it is a very fine line between fantails and ryukins--really, the hump is the only difference. To me, if it was only the second pic I would think "young ryukin," but the last one really looks more fantail. But who knows? That tiny bit of hump could grow! In any case, gorgeous fish! My ryukin was sold to me as an "oranda," and my oranda (a blue/chocolate) was sold to me as a "blackmoor." -_-|||
TetraLover 21 Posted May 16, 2007 (edited) I gotta add my boy, Spook, in here. He's SO different now!! Spook before! (peeky boo!!) About 2 inches +tail Spook after!!! (He's gotten so big!!) About 4 inches +tail. The Black Moor is "Ant" who hasn't grown much at all. It's a newer fish (about a half-month younger than Spook) EDIT: Alright, that wasn't fair. The picture in my siggy is of them both when I first had them in the rubbermaid, and they were about the same size, so Ant HAS grown as much as Spook! emilydelong 0 Posted May 20, 2007 Sarah, your Feather's after pic looks exactly like my Belle except Belle doesn't have as much finnage anymore because she's getting over a bad case of finrot.

dickey_moe 0 Posted July 10, 2007 a couple of things: the first date is an educated guess based on the date it was posted here. The second and third are accurate. I took the third one today. The glass is exactly the same size even though it is a different color. I had 2 and broke one. Glurp's growth

Guest 0reteki Posted August 24, 2007 Very nice fish everybody. Here's another of mine. This is Marley, he's my first goldfish. I got Marley when a very good friend of mine became very sick and she asked me if I'd take her goldfish and care for him... Learning to care for him brought me to Koko's and started my OGD. He lived the first four months of his life in a one gallon bowl, so he never grew to his full potential, but I still like him. Marley on 9/03/02 Marley 11/22/05 Very touching that you brought the goldfish to a better place, from a one gallon bowl
