redfish 252 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) Boog, July 2010, approx. 2 1/2 inches long. Boog, November 11, 2010. Hard to tell in these pics, but he is about 3 1/2 inches including tail, and his tail is longer. His red has deepened too! Locke 4 Posted May 29, 2011 I bought Helo apx 14 months ago. It's pretty cool looking back on what he was when I got him, to what he is now. .March of last year. Bad picture but, you get the idea... August is when I really started to notice the difference... This is January. It's crazy how much he's changed, even since just this past new year. And today... This guy is my champion. He's been nothing but a bull since he joined my tank. Sometimes I'm sure he's been responsible for the death of a few additions, as he's the ultimate competitor for food. And he's a beast when there's a female in the tank, who is ready to spawn. When I brought Helo home, he was a little under 4 inches, from head to the tip of his caudal fin. Today I measured him, and he's slightly over 7 1/2 inches.
obsession 0 Posted August 13, 2011 This isn't nearly as good as some of these photos, but I just had to share. There is only a difference of a month, but Curious George sure has started to put the weight on . Before After

magpie14 0 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) I'm kinda new at keeping goldies, but I have a pretty decent example of color change and relatively fast overall growth in a two month period of time. This is Dad (fantail), named so because of his moustache (my dad has one too ) This is when I first got him only two months ago: And now, two months later... losing his black, but seems to be maintaining his moustache and also considerably larger! (If you can't tell, he has grown roughly 25% of his size already!) Also pictured: Hector, my panda oranda. I am hoping for some beautiful wen from him! And a bonus picture just for fun: This is Moira, she's a freakin' goregous panda... she was marked as an oranda but I'm not sure that's what she is. Nonetheless, she has the most beautiful stark black and white I've ever seen. Hopefully it'll stay that way!!! I'll be sure to post more updates as my babies grow and change! number20121 2,663 Posted September 17, 2011 Amazing how all these fish grew and developed! And just for the heck of it, another one of Vanille. I just realized on her old pics, she always had a massively long tail. For a short while I wondered if my big water change schedule wasn't enough and she got stunted in my care. But no, she's always had a very long tail, and ribbontails are supposed to be like that, so I am sure she is fine. After all she has more than doubled in overall size since I got her Around October 2010 September 2011 This has to be the whitest white I have ever seen on a goldfish.

edong86 6 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Before and after pics of the first 3 inhabitants of my old 50 gallon tank: All three were around 2 inches when I bought them. They are now around 4-5 inches long Love how Vanille has filled up, and how her fins are so flowy, and that now she is almost all white! Beautiful.
