Hi i hope this is the place to post this. I went to Wak-Mart today and was looking at thier fish.There was one fish with white stuff on it,kind of like dry skin flakes, or kind of like little white bubbles on it. What would that be.It was swimming around like it was fine. Thanks

Did it look like the picture here: http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/2002/IIck.jpg

That is a disease called ick (or ich), and it affects goldfish who are stressed or housed in poor quality water. If treated right away it can be cured fairly easily, but it can be fatal if left untreated.

Here is some more info on this disease:

http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/disease.html (first paragraph)

Ick is usually treated with a salt concentration added to the water, by raising the temperature slowly and vacuuming the gravel a lot. There are commercial treatments available as well. For specifics, read this post;

http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/...showtopic=12599

There are some other goldfish diseases that cause white spots/dots/bubbles, but ich is the most common.
