Ramshorn Snail Shell Issue

My snails' shells seem to be falling apart. My adult snail has pretty musch lost ALL of its outer shell and some of my young snails(which I call snailings and are living in the air pipes) are also having this problem. My water is extremely hard so there is more than enough calcium and Ramshorn Snails live a LOT longer then Apple and Algae Snails so they aren't old.

The snailings will be moved to their own tank soon.

I forgot to mention the adult snail itself is a nice healthy brown. Even the second adult snail which died two months ago was a nice healthy brown even after it was dead.(I still have its shell by the way) Both their shells look horrible.

I tested the PH right after the second adult snail died. It was normal.

And by the time I noticed shell problems the fish weren't trying to eat their eyes anymore.

We don't even HAVE a water softner anymore.

The water in Davis CA. is very hard

My PH is a little high but not high enough to damage snail shells(considering the large amount of calcium in the water)

BTW, IF you let me upload, I will upload the pict from Applesnail.net that looks most like my adult snail(in its current condition)
