Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted November 15, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted November 15, 2003 Nemo, how long has the tank been running? How many fish in it? Filter? Basically, as long as you have ammonia in the tank, you should do daily water changes to keep the ammonia in check (25-30%), and you can add salt to the tank to lessen the effect of the nitrite on the fishies gills. Regular Member my nemo Posted November 16, 2003 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 16, 2003 the tank has been running for almost a month now. Its a 10 gallon tank with 2 fish in it. It has a top fin 10 filter. I did a 30% water change yesterday and the results are still the same.
