Regular Member fantailfan1 Posted October 20, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 20, 2005 10 gallons per fish for fancy (double tailed, shorter bodied, "deeper") goldfish 15-20 gallons per fish for commons, comets, shubukins (single tailed, long bodies) That's a lot of water for fish but goldfish produce a lot of waste so you need all that water to keep the water clean and livable for the fish. Welcome to Koko's and if you have more questions--please ask!!
