Guest WoodenCoyote
I noticed last night that Bugger has started pooping bubbles aside from regular waste. This isn't just clear droppings, there actual bubbles of air that float to the surface after being expeld. Yea. What's the game? Fish farts? Is this something I should be worried about? Regular Member daryl Posted October 19, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 19, 2005 Well, this explains bubbles in the poop..... http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/GoldfishPoop.html But, bubbles on their own, like "farts" are something I have not noticed. I expect it means what it means in any creature - he is eating something that is not being digested properly, and has caused excess gas to accumulate in the intestinal track. Blowing the gas out relieves it. It may mean that you are feeding too much, or that you are feeding the "wrong" foods for that particular fish. You might try upping the amounts of fresh greens and see if that helps.....
