I was wondering if there is an equation to know the ammount of galons per hours you need in ur tank? I have a 20 Gl tank with 2 very young black moores(under an inch and a half) and one red cap(about an inch) What should i add to make the filtration better. By the way i already have a penguin 150.

The rule of thumb is at least 10x the turnover, but this is for tanks stocked with 1 fancy goldfish per 10 gallons. If you only had two fish in your 20 gallon, you would want a gph of at least 200, but since you have an extra fish, you probably want a higher gph, probably around a total of 250-300. Hope that helps :)
