Regular Member toothless Posted October 9, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 9, 2005 To reduce the effects of the strong currents without compromising optimal filter flow, you can strategically place silk plants and ornaments to break up the currents. That usually does the trick very nicely. As your goldfish grow, they will be less and less affected by the 10X's flow rate....... Hope this helps. Regular Member x-Lucy-Fish-x Posted October 9, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 9, 2005 yea mines like that, a filter suitable for a 20/30 gal in a ten gal! still on its lowest setting, Emlsey swims but stays in the same place! so i put a bushy fake plant on top of the filter outlet and it pretty much stops the current
