Regular Member Anic Posted September 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 This isn't supposed to go in the Disease section, I'm just curious. When I saw the fish in the tank he stayed at the bottom, swam around but generally stayed near the bottom. Now that he's in my tank, he moves more but stays at the bottom mostly. Is this typical for Fantails or is my new fishy still adjusting? He wiggles when he (or she) swims. It's really cute. Here's the other post about my new fish: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/...showtopic=35080
Regular Member onefish3 Posted September 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 I have three fantails and none of them hang around the bottom unless they're looking for food in the gravel. Could be a personality thing maybe.
Regular Member Anic Posted September 5, 2005 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 Well, he eats stuff he finds in the gravel. And even if he isn't, he still hangs around the bottom. I hope it's just a personality thing.
Regular Member Comet Posted September 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 He could be acclimating to his new tank. You should test the water too.
