Regular Member onefish3 Posted September 4, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2005 Yeah, basically what the topic line says. Sometimes I give frozen peas to my guys, but I've also given them canned peas and carrots. I give them a quick rinse to wash some of the juice off too. Does anybody know? Regular Member gialeigh Posted September 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 yes its fine as long as there is nothing in it but ONE ingredient. Be it PEAS or PUMPKIN, or LIMA BEANS...that is all that should be in the list of ingredients. No sugar, salt or preservatives should be in the ingredients. Whenever I make gel food I leave the juice in and add it to the gel mix. The water is not harmful...just look at the ingredients on the can like I said. Pumpkin sometimes has added sugar and peas and greenbeans and other vegetables can have added salt or other seasonings, which is not what you want to feed your goldies.
