Im thinking about getting a snail or two, however my tank is nearly overstocked. Im wondering if adding two snails to it is a bad idea if you already have 1 fish per 10 gallons.

Well, I wouldn't know for sure, but if they are small snails that wont grow too big, then it shouldn't be too bad, but if they were big snails, they would take up living space for your fishies. Don't want that to happen! :)

Be warned! First...there will be two. Then you will see another and another and buy them....then you will have a whole snail tank! :rofl

They should be ok as long as you feed them enough. Be sure to get brigs and not canas or Insularum of your that worried about space.

The scariest are the snails that don't need two to reproduce. YOu think you are safe buying just one, and WHAM!!

Brigs do need two to reproduce.......except the females can store sperm for six months so if they mated five months ago they can still lay eggs!!! :krazy:

PS. the brigs need 2.5 gallons of water each.
