Salt- How Long Do I Keep It In?

I have successfully treated 1 gf for ich, thanks to some helpful info on this forum. :) Need some further information.

I have a 30 ltr. BiOrb, have treated the Ich with a .3% salt concentration and a series of salt dips, which the fish has responded really well to. The ich is nearly gone now. How long do I maintain the .3% salt? Have been doing 30% water changes every other day as well. Can I extend the time between water changes a little now?

Thanks in advance for any help! B)

I think you should keep up the .3% salt solution until the fish has been free of visible signs of ich for 6 days, or a maximum of 3 weeks (provided symptoms have disappeared).

I think it is a good idea to keep up your water changes until signs of infection are gone. Fresh water is a great aid to healing.
