Regular Member fishywomble Posted August 26, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted August 26, 2005 I've heard that dipping plants in potassium permanganate will disinfect them, but I am not sure where to get this in the UK! Can I just walk to a chemist's (i.e Boots) and ask a pharmacist for it??? I don't want to give anyone the impression I am trying to make a bomb or anything like that.... fw
Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted August 30, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted August 30, 2005 Have you tried pharmacies? That is the only place that comes to mind here. I'll put your question in the "international section", you'll probably get more help there....

Regular Member fishywomble Posted September 6, 2005 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 6, 2005 Thanks a lot, everyone. I managed to find a small bottle from a large Boots. A smaller branch said they didn't have it. It's really very costly, at nearly 11 pounds for a small bottle of 30 PP tablets! Hmm, I'd better use this sparingly.... fw
