I apoligise(sp?) for not posting the pictures on here and only the urls, but I'm having troubles with my computer...

I'm sorry they're so large, and their quality isn't that great, but none the less...these are my goldies. :heart

I was wondering how to get rid of that algea. I can't even scrape it off with an algea scraper!

Anyways, this is Willy Wonka.

I thought I'd throw in a picture of Davey..I put him in a larger tank than he was in before..so he's much more happy and his colours are more outstanding than ever...so this is an older photo

Your fish are very nice. That green spot algae is hard to remove. It's helps to wipe down the inside of the tank each week before it has a chance to grow. You may need to scrape it off with a razor blade.

Very cute fish. I've had pretty good luck with a magnetic algae scraper. Also, the once a week glass wipedown helps a lot. Good luck!

lovely fish!!   So cute!

Are Betta's hard work to keep?

(We have an on-going battle with algea too )

Thanks ^^

Betas arn't very hard at all to keep. I keep mine in a 2 gallon hexfun tank I got for free and do water changes weekly. I feed him the beta pelets once a day. I've had them last for many many years...much more simple than goldfish, and they're beautiful!

Thanks for the help...I'll try the razorblade idea..and hopefully I'll keep it under control. Is there any reason that the algea maybe have occured?
