Regular Member Kingyo Posted November 1, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted November 1, 2003 I was shopping around in Bigals.com and found a protein skimmer that can be fitted to aquaclear power filters... it was only $8, so I added it to my cart. It sucks in all floating scum but makes a water splashing sound and is a bit tricky to calibrate. I will post some time in the future to tell you if it has made a difference in my tank. Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted November 2, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted November 2, 2003 I only would find use in a skimmer outdoors on a pond, since there are lots of floating leaves and stuff around, things you dont have in a tank...Unless a skimmer is good for something else....
