Guest jimmy_396_jimmy
well you need 1850 gallons(7000 liters) per hour at least, but it isn't enough.... all your getting now is 977 gallons(3697liters) per hour but you only have like 12 fish depending on the size
Regular Member fondoo Posted July 30, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 30, 2005 my rena filstar XP3 came in today and i gotta say, its so SWEEEET! quiet and does the job with multiple media's.
Regular Member svendenhowser Posted July 31, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 31, 2005 Yea i recently found a place that sells the rena filstars, they had them marked 1/2 price because no one was buying them as the eheims and such were cheaper (i suppose they were importing them from far far away). They are not normally sold in aust so thats probably another reason why they were so expensive. But i got the filstar xp2 (the xp3 was just sooo much more expensive) and its going great A little noisier than my cf1200 but at least it fits under my tank in the stand. It dosent come with all the media though, only filter wool/foam stuff. Plenty of room for more media though
