Jump-starting A New Tank

Hi, everybody...

Now that my 2 goldies are happy and well-adjusted in their new 30-gallon tank, I'm thinking I'd like to get my old 20-gallon set up for a couple of small goldies.

I've got new gravel (thoroughly washed), and I was planning on using my existing AquaClear 200 (currently on the 30-gallon) to jump-start a fishless cycle? Is this a good idea. The 200 has lots of "good bugs" right now, and my 30-gallon would still have its AquaClear 300. :lol

Any thoughts? B)

Kristi (who went a whole 2 weeks with an empty tank!)

Kristi, going that long with an empty tank is pure torture!

If the Aquaclear 200 has been running long enough (longer than a month), then I would say go for it! Sounds like a plan! :)
