Regular Member shnookylu Posted October 31, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted October 31, 2003 Hi, everybody... Now that my 2 goldies are happy and well-adjusted in their new 30-gallon tank, I'm thinking I'd like to get my old 20-gallon set up for a couple of small goldies. I've got new gravel (thoroughly washed), and I was planning on using my existing AquaClear 200 (currently on the 30-gallon) to jump-start a fishless cycle? Is this a good idea. The 200 has lots of "good bugs" right now, and my 30-gallon would still have its AquaClear 300. Any thoughts? B) Kristi (who went a whole 2 weeks with an empty tank!) Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted October 31, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted October 31, 2003 Kristi, going that long with an empty tank is pure torture! If the Aquaclear 200 has been running long enough (longer than a month), then I would say go for it! Sounds like a plan!
Guest Hvnsent309
Bio-Spira is also a great way to jumpstart your tank...
