Dancing!

Hi!

I have been noticing my fish doing that.... dance . IF they get into fertalization, I will have no clue what to do!!!!!! I really don't want to be caught by surprise and have no clue what do do next. SO...... is there any advise anyone can give me? precautions? Anything is appreciated. ^_^

if your fish do start to mate, I would suggest having a tank to either put them in or a tank to put the eggs into for hatching.

Thanks! I think their dancing is done... Just curious though, would like a breeding net work? My parents won't let me have another tank no matter how hard I try.

My friend uses a vase for the eggs and the fry as well.

As soon as they outgrow the vase, they're too big to be eaten by the parents anyhow. So dont worry, you wouldnt need an extra tank at all.

I dont have experience with a breeding net, so wouldnt be able to tell you.

I find it easiest to just take out the eggs and let them hatch in a seperate "tank".

yeah, I agree with Lizzy that you dont really ned a tank, but you do need soemthing to separate the fry from the parents(dont wnat the parents thinking that tehy are brine shrimp...lol). AS for the breeding net, I have never tried that before. I think it's geared more towards livebearers than egglayers. If you like, you could even get a plastic cantain from like target or K-mart and use that as a tank. I'm on messenger, hit me up if you like!
