Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted July 26, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 26, 2005 Yeah, stockings do just fine, so do new filter sponges with a hole cut to the size of the intake tube. You also can get some ordinary filter floss (or polyester batting for pillows, but not the non flamable kind), and have it hang from your filter output (where the water runs out of the filter) into the water. That way the water out of the filter doesn't splash into the tank, it will have a softer touch to it by just rinning over the filter floss into the tank. Regular Member Fire_Wolf Posted July 30, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 30, 2005 I'm useing a sponge that came off the stock tank pump, laguna 1500.. it has a pre-formed hole in center that fits just perfect over the intake! It works very well!
