Guest Abrienna
Wondering at which age goldfish usually stop growing? Or do they just continue growing throughout their whole life? I've got two fantails. One's about 3 inches (tail not included) and the other's about 3 1/2 inches. They were recently upgraded from their old 15 gallon to their new and luxurious 20 high, and I swear they've each grown at least a half an inch since!! I know that the 10 gallon per fish rule is suposed to cover most (if not all) fancies, but it seems like they're NEVER GOING TO STOP GROWING!!!! (Kinda' like that children's book A Fish Out of Water by Helen Palmer.) Abrienna
Regular Member Gold Ryu Posted July 24, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 24, 2005 If they get good health and a big tank they can get like 5 inches i think even more. And fast growing also shows that they are nice and healthy.I'd like my goldfish to grow as large as they can.
