Regular Member orandas*r*my*heart Posted July 18, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 18, 2005 It's hard to say...as long as you're not overstocked, and adding in that he has a proper diet and good water conditions...oh and the one factor that is out of our control: GOOD GENES! I hate that for most of us we'll never know....but if there are a lot of little guys in his gene pool, he may not be a big guy, but stay at like 7 or 8 inches! Good luck with your new Oranda....What's the little ones's name?
Regular Member Black oranda Posted July 18, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 18, 2005 10 gallons is the minimum. So when he keeps growing you should eventually get him/her a bigger tank. Filtration and a good diet is also very important. And making sure the water quality is good aswell.
Regular Member magickzzl Posted July 19, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 19, 2005 i would guess, if the water quality stays up, prlly 8-12 inches. orandas tend to be on the big end from what I hear
