Guest mmarro
My small calico is such a trooper. My tank parameters are pristine! Temp is a little high but nothing over 80 degrees. My concern is my fish floats at the top either on his side or completely upside down. At first I thought he was sucking in too much air when he ate so I started sinking his food but he still does it, any time not just after feeding. Any suggestions? Thanks! Regular Member lillypetal Posted July 18, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 18, 2005 does he gasp a lot of air from the top of the tank? if so you have a lack of o2 in your tanks, and the params have gone out. Introduce an air stone and have better water quality
Guest mmarro
He doesn't gasp at the surface for air...he just gets over excited when the food is floating on top and sucks in everything he can. I have an airstone and my water quality is good which is why I can't figure out what the deal is with his floating... Thanks!
