Regular Member Fishmerised Posted July 18, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 18, 2005 I know that some people use salmon in their gel food, so yes, I guess they can eat it. If feeding it to them straight, just feed a teeny weeny bite.

Regular Member Fishmerised Posted July 18, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 18, 2005 I bet they gobbled it down. Only little bits at a time because it's very high in salt content. (should have mentioned that earlier)

Regular Member fishyfan7 Posted July 19, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 19, 2005 I know that the gel food recipe I use has tuna in it. But putting the stuff straight from the can into the water would be messy! But I'm guessing that they can have a teeny bit of the real tuna (the steaks, instead of the can).
