Regular Member Kissy Posted July 15, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2005 How do you dose prazi for a 29 gallon tank? My baby lionhead has some sort of parasite and prazi should be here in the next hour (hopefully) Sorry for starting a new topic in the 911 forum but I need advice quickly. Thank you
Regular Member Kissy Posted July 15, 2005 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2005 Okay well I got the prazi and it was liquid and stuff, and there was instructions etc. A few more questions tho. Do I add back some prazi to the water after waterchanges? Can I do another dose?
Regular Member kortniee Posted July 15, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2005 I think it's generally a one-time deal, but it says on the bottle that you can do it again 3-5 days later as necessary, so maybe when you get back, you can do another one. Regular Member kortniee Posted July 15, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2005 I'm pretty sure it's an immediate thing, like a dip, only it's okay that it sticks around in the tank for a while afterwards, just to get acquainted. If you can figure out exactly how much goes in the water you replace, I don't think it'll hurt to replace it, if you want to. You may want to do that just in case, since this is the first day you've had it. I don't think you'll need to do it tomorrow, though. Um... Toothy? Where are you? Regular Member daryl Posted July 22, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 22, 2005 Toothless has the absolute word on fluke treatment in my book. What he says appears to be the best treatment regiment I have EVER read! And it works.... http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/...showtopic=12696 and... http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/...showtopic=21493 Good luck. May your nasties die quickly!
