Regular Member kflynt2004 Posted July 14, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 14, 2005 I got a tank and it was quite old so I decided to remove its old silicone and put some new. How long shall I wait from the time i applied the silicone till i fill it up with water for testing? On the silicone its written that it gets tottaly dry in 1-2 weeks! the guy @ the lfs told me to wait 2-3 days. what u suggest? B)

Regular Member sollicitus_witness Posted July 15, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2005 I waited a week 362350[/snapback] Wow, thats quite a long time.... I guess it depends on the brand you buy. I had to wait three days, I like what smack said, though, wait till the vinigary smell is gone.
