Guest Oranda Man
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable way of providing a "curtain" of air bubbles to my tank. I am looking for something similar as seen here: ...what equipment would you recommend?
Regular Member Chrissy_Bee Posted July 11, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 11, 2005 You can buy 'bubble curtains' at most pet stores. They are just rubber hoses with a lot of little holes which you attach to a pump. You can also buy long air stones, which work but not as well. I was just at wal mart and almost got a bubble curtain myself for only 6 bucks! Good luck
Regular Member Maceo Posted July 14, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 14, 2005 I have what's called a bubble wand and my goldies love to play in it . It's attached with suction cups and they hold really well and I really love mine I got it at Wal mart by the way
Regular Member smack536 Posted July 14, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 14, 2005 the air pump is the key to making these things look good....get a nice strong air pump...i personally LOVE profile air pumps, but renas are supposed to be good too. getting a pump that isnt very good will leave you with a bubble wall that only has a few streams of bubbles comming up! Regular Member Slugger Posted July 14, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 14, 2005 I second smack536, you will need a pump with enough oomph. Check also if it is noisy after a bit of use. (I have rattley pumps ) Slugger
