Regular Member New to gold's Posted October 29, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted October 29, 2003 Hi all I live on the beach and we have an abundance of rocks along the coast, both large and small. I was wondering if it is ok to use any or all of the different varieties in my goldfish aquarium, and if so, do I have to do anything special with them before I introduce them to the tank. Our area along the coast generally has a lot of pollution readings that I would be concerned with. Any suggestions ?
Regular Member pm94 Posted October 29, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted October 29, 2003 I would shy away from using those rocks due to the pollution and other problems they may contain. Places like Home Depot or nnnnnn have polished river rocks that would work or hit your local garden center and see what they have for bulk rock selections.
