Regular Member Ranchugirl Posted October 29, 2003 Regular Member Share Posted October 29, 2003 My newest experiment with a pair of twin tale bettas has produced an astonishing amount of fry, and I dont know what to do with all of them! They are free swimming since today, and I was amazed how many fry that male has to take care of! How many exactly? Well, a careful count estimates the number of fry to about........THREE! That male has one of the easiest jobs on earth, only 3 fry!! I keep looking and looking, since he built a rather high bubble nest, but all I see are 3! He can be proud of himself! I"ve never seen a baby fish...well we had a baby guppy once when I was a kid, but that was so long ago I don't even remember what it looked like.
