:( That's one of those things where I've heard good and bad about the use of Salt for Betta's.Truthfully,I have been rather leary of it myself,but in one instance I did use it in a Dire Straight Emergeny when my Betta had an awful case of Ich,and then got finrot so bad during treatment that I thought he was going to die.I think I actually saved his life because of it.The Ich was almost gone by morning,and the horrible fin rot seemed to completely drop off,& you could see that the edge of his fins were looking better. I am still not convinced that salt is the best way to go,but if I ever have another emergency,I'd probably consider using it in a low dosage amount. I also know a few people that used salt and their Betta's died so.... :idont
