Regular Member Drgong Posted July 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2005 http://www.aquarian.com/cgi-bin/trans.pl/e...uarama_80.shtml that is the size you need 1 gallon is 3.79 liters 20 gallons = ~75 liter So you really want about a 75 liter tank for them.... Regular Member kortniee Posted July 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2005 Also, just make sure the filter you get filters at least 750 liters (or 200 gallons) per hour. I'm not sure exactly what's available in the UK.
Regular Member sandy Posted July 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2005 In the uk its 4.5 litres to the gallon. i had my two in a juwel rekord 72 or something similar but if you get a juwel then you will need to add extra filtration. i agree the 80 looks the best size for your fish for the rest of their lives. When you get the filtration remember you will need 10 times the tank capacity.
Regular Member Marco Posted July 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2005 yepp i agree too, the 80L/20g is a perfect size tank for your 2 Calico Oranda, they will get along in there
Regular Member magickzzl Posted July 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2005 In your 16L, you could put a VERY lucky betta when the goldies move though

Regular Member svendenhowser Posted July 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted July 5, 2005 the aquarian deal comes with a 500L/hr filter, whereas the juwel only comes with a 300L/hr filter. Not 66 pounds worth though.
