Guest danxxx
Hello, I've got a new fish who most of the past half-week been resting diagonally nose up at top or nose down at bottom. I reckon she's probably constipated and am treatign as such, but then someone mentioned being 'egg bound' or 'absorbing eggs' as another possibility. I do reckon she's a she, and also her poo has mostly been pale and stringy (tho some healthy-looking) and a few times had teenytiny kind of crinkles in it. What should I look for to decide whether she's egg bound (or whatever), rather than constipated? What does it mean & how best treat it? Is there anything I can do which would be good whether it's egg trouble OR constipation? Help me I'm confused...(have posted on disease/diagnosis' forum, but thought I'd ask here too. Thanks!
