anyone got any, and how long before they were totally out of control and had to be de populated ?

i have 10 coming next week and did a bit of homework so i know the basics of them but i'm worried i'm going to be over run with them. :unsure:

:) I have loads, but there very intresting to watch, i don't call them pests.

I have about 40 to mayeb up to 100 trumpets, inm y 15 gallon

tropical tank, the tank has sand on the bottom so there very good

they turn over the sand, Where are you planing on keeping them?,

i was thinking of putting 3 in my 16 gallon (uk) and the others in my 34 gallon. both are community tanks and have gravel.

There going to do great, if your worried of them breeding to

much im sure some of your fish will eat the babies, but like i said

before its not that bad. Do you have plants?, if so they do great

with them, they won't eat them ect. And there great little cleaners.,

:) I'm doing a "test run" with them.I had a friend from Apple Snails send me 6 or 8 of them for my ten gal Snail tank(It has sand substrate).She said that although they do produce alot,she still has chosen to keep all of them in her tanks,and when she gets a little overwhelmed,she sends people like me some! :rolleyes::lol:

I have some in my 20 with the Tetras & White Clouds, and I really like them! Goldies will keep them a bit under control though, the tiny ones they can eat.

I'm planning on putting bigger ones in the big tank later on.
