Thanks for the reply Koko.

I want to get one of these because I'm going through a pH/KH crisis right now, and have to do lots of these tests. Plus, I am never really sure I got the colours matched up.. ;)

Would be grateful for more input.

Hi ThugLife,

I still haven't bought one yet because they're quite expensive.

A friend of mine bought one for about US$30, but I haven't been able to find a similarly priced one. The ones I have seen are over US$100.

I'm using the liquid tests until I can find a cheap one.

hi Slugger and Thuglife,

I had to invest in a PH meter a while back because I was sick of the test strips, drops etc;!!!!

I got a great one from Rick at GoldfishConnection and I would be LOST without it. It cost $64.99 but I would have spent MORE than that on tests strips by now so it pays for itself in 3 months! The battery ( according to Rick) lasts 3 years. NO MORE GUESSING guys! Plus you can get an accurate read out of your tap water before you change your tank water. No big swings to worry about. :D
