Floating Bloodworms

i feed my fish every 2 days tetrafin flakes, soaked for a few minutes in tank water so they sink.

i got some freeze-dried bloodworms that i give them as a treat, but they dont sink after soaking for several minutes. this causes probs because my fish are kind of oblivious to floating food and it gets caught up in my floating plants, hiding the tiny little worms.

anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, bloodworms don't really sink. You could try getting frozen of live bloodworms. I'm pretty sure they sink. :)

Yes the majority of the frozen bloodworms sink. A few of them still float. I don't know why. My goldies find them anyway. I put the cube that I am going to feed in the fridge few hours before feeding so they defrost. The goldies love it!

I feed them the freeze dried tubifex worms. What I do is soak them in a little container filled with tank water about an hour before feeding. When I dump them into the tank at feeding time, they sink right away since they are saturated.
