Regular Member akk0415 Posted April 27, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted April 27, 2005 I found eggs in my tank about two weeks ago. I have one fish a single female black moor. There are now more in the tank. Not as many as the first time but what I want to know is does this happen? They are definitely fresh. There are no plants or other things that might bring in snails or something else that may have eggs. These look like fish eggs.... She was eggbound originally. Could she not have expelled them all the first time? To be honest I only see maybe 5 or 6 all towards the top of the tank on the taller plants. I know nothing about goldfish breeding behavior and habits.
Regular Member Meg_Carroll Posted April 27, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted April 27, 2005 Yup they can, mine do it all the time. She will let eggs go every few hours all day, then again a few days later.
