We set up the 63L tank about 5 weeks ago Got 2 orandas then later 1 more and the black moor One oranda got white spot (treated twice with anti white spot plus)but then black moor died. Have since done thorough clean, partial water change, aquarium salts and oxygen tablets. Fish are fed on Tetrafin max. Mostly they are hanging at the bottom or swimming erratically. The red cap oranda has red streaks. The bigger fish is bullying the other two. We now have (suddenly appeared) brown algae on rocks and some green. Readings are all top side of normal. It is aFluval One tank which came as a set. Just don't know what to do next, they look so ill

Hi ethers and welcome to the forum.

Its a 14 gallon uk with 3 fish right?

could you fill in as much of the white box above as you can please to help us get an idea of your set up and routine. Have you cycled the tank?

The tank hasnt been going long and adding too many fish at once may have upset the filter. Fancy goldies need around 10 gallons each and you may need to up the amount of water changes you do. The red streaks are either due to high ammonia/nitrites or a bacterial disease such as septiceamia.

Do a 50% water change just now and clean out the filter sponge in used tank water. The filter needs to change over the water 10 times each hour. So you will need a filter that is capable of a turnover of 630 litres per hour which i dont think the fluval one on its own can do.

please post back soon. :)
