No, it was water that had been sitting all morning, but it was probably coler than the water they were in. :crp , its very upsetting :cry1

Terrible news.

I add water using the syphon... so it goes in a bit slower... I only sit the water in the sun for half an hour because it is clean, soft water, but it's usually warmer than the stuff I take out and they get all hyperactive.

I'm glad you still have two, so all is not lost.

Next time you'll have better luck.

It's just a big learning curve.

Well, the two little survivors are still alive, they dont seem to be getting any bigger. I moved the female betta away from the fantail, she was much too agressive, and was tearing up the fantails tail. he little fantail wants to eat all the time! and when theres no food arond, she picks at the fake plant! should i put a live plant in for her to nibble on?, and would she be happy with a tank mate?, i,d like to get a telescope, but am not sure. truffles. ;)
